The Past, Present and Future of my Blog...

You might have noticed that over the last few years I haven't done very many blog posts.  One reason is lack of interest on my part.  One reason is lack of interest in blogs these days.  One reason is that I simply don't have it in me anymore, both physically and mentally.  Last month I uploaded a bunch of pictures but still needed to write a brief explanation of those pictures.  I keep putting it off (just like a lot of things in my life right now) and realized that I need to take an extended break from my blog.  With that said, I am not going to post the last set of pictures I uploaded.  They were pictures from me and Brian's anniversary and a trip to Utah over the summer.  I have a very large amount of pictures that I wanted to post and it has become a little overwhelming.  I hope to get around to posting them on my facebook page in the near future but so many other more important things are going on.  I also hope to return to posting blogs someday.  For years I have loved posting and found it to be fun, but need a planned break for a while.  It has been great to share parts of my life via blogger and hope that I will be able to do it again someday.  I still want to share pictures, etc. but found email and facebook alone to be more than I can handle right now.  My facebook page is private but let me know if you want to add me.  I will share pictures through emails as well if requested.  Thank you!

I'm off to make more memories with my wonderful husband!

Fun trips...

It has been far too long again since my last post.  Brian and I went camping in October then I went to Utah the end of February.  We then went camping again in April with Brian's sister, her husband and their then 4-month-old baby boy Jackson. Brian and I also brought our dog Charlie!

Time for an update...

I have been slacking when it comes to posts this year. I have so many pictures because of my slacking. Brian and I have been married for over 15 months now! He is my rock that I look forward to seeing at the end of each day.

Sometimes Charlie doesn't like to get out of bed. It can be hard to finish making the bed with him still in it!...
Me and my kitty cat Abby...
Brian and I went camping at Pinal Peak in March. We were on our way to the top which is where we like to camp but we were not expecting snow and ice.  We had to turn around and go to the camp side further down...

It was 42 degrees at 1:00 in the afternoon. It got down to the teens that night...
Our awesome tent...
Breakfast in the morning. Brian made bacon & eggs. We also heated up water for hot chocolate on our stove...
Our chairs are great! Fire going and ready to relax in the cold weather...
Precious...
This was the first time I used our dutch oven. I was practicing for the dutch oven cook off we were going to have at Brian's family reunion. This is cherry cobbler...
My husband is so handsome. Look at those eyes!...
I wasn't joking when I said it was cold.  I was in layers. We zip our sleeping bags together and Brian's body heat allows me to sleep!...
For my brothers 40th birthday I made him a photo album of pictures and letters. Here are a few pictures from that album. This picture is from my sister Amanda's wedding in 1999. It has my oldest sister Kimberly, my brother Guy, my sister Amanda and me. I was 8 months pregnant and having contractions all day...
This is my brother Guy, me, my sister-in-law Christa (Guy's wife) and my oldest sister Kimberly. We were in Park City Utah at the Olympic park in 2001. This is the summer before the winter Olympics...
The Morgan 4 in 2002 at my brothers house in Utah. We have a little song we sing. This was us putting up what number we are in birth order. Kimberly #1, Guy #2, Amanda #3 and me #4...
The early years. I was just a little tot under the arm of my big brother...
One of my favorites. Playing the game Simon. I had my arm over my brothers leg. My grandfather, "Gramper" on the floor watching us. He passed away almost 2 years ago...

My nieces Madison and Sierra liked to wake me up in the morning. It's the best way to wake up!...
We drove to Antelope Island. It was beautiful...
At first we thought this bird was standing on one leg but turned out it only had one leg. Very interesting. That is my sister Amanda in the back...
On the way there my brother pulled over so my nieces could run up to the birds on the side of the lake. There were hundreds of birds that flew away. They had a blast!...
It was June but you can still see snow on the mountains. It was 40 something degrees and rainy the day I got there. A big change and beautiful!...
We saw a baby deer. It's mom was out hunting so a park ranger was keeping an eye on it to make sure no one touched it...
My sister Amanda and I were so exhausted that we collapsed on each other. What are sisters for...
After the Aquarium we went to Lindy's home (a family friend). The kids had fun jumping on the trampoline...

They have auctions where the family member brings something they made to the reunion to sale. The money goes to the next reunions cost. I made this!...
I love doing this kind of thing. I am not a crafty person but this is something I love to do. I'm happy to say that I made it!...
Tammy and Mike with their daughter Sophia. They just came out of the Albuquerque LDS Temple being sealed for time and eternity!...
Cute picture of Sophia being held up to the fountain...

I like this picture I took of them. The flowers and the fountain are so nice...
I was so blessed to go to the sealing of this family in this temple. It was one of the BEST experiences of my life. I love adoption and temples. The Albuquerque temple has a special place in my heart...
Tammy and I after we left the Temple. We went out to eat. It was so nice to see her and her family/friends. Holding her baby was something special as well. She is a gift from Heaven for sure!...

The little cake that Brian and I had made for our 1 year anniversary. It is similar to our wedding cake. We picked the flavor of our favorite tier. Cream cheese filling with cream cheese frosting. It was SO good...
The LDS Mesa Arizona Temple is where Brian and I got married. We have this picture framed with maroon matting in our living room. It's a beautiful picture...

It has taken me way too long to get this post done. Brian and I went camping last weekend. I have no idea how long it will take me to post those pictures. HA!
